Hi everyone! Fall might be over, but it’s never too late to do Fall-themed book tag. Writing this tag made me realize how much I miss going to cafe and drinking these beverages, but alas, I don’t think I can do it anytime soon given my country’s situations. Anyway, thanks to Belle @ This Belle Reads Too for tagging me in the Pumpkin Spice Latte book tag!
hi everyone! welcome to the mid year freak out book tag : 2020 edition! no one actually tagged me to do this, but i figured it’d be a fun way to see my reading progress in the first half of 2020. also, it helps me to make my end-of-year recap, so here we go :
1. BEST BOOK YOU’VE READ SO FAR IN 2020
i read quite a lot of great books this year, so it’s hard to choose one, but if i have to i’ll pick Harley in the Sky by Akemi Dawn Bowman. it’s my second Bowman’s books, and it has everything i love–from self-realization journey to (kinda) slow-burn romance. the circus setting also made this book more magical.
hi everyone! most likely you have heard of this everywhere, but i’m going to scream one more time that WE’RE GOING TO GET A PERCY JACKSON ADAPTATION!! pjo was one of the very first book that got me into reading, so obviously i’m very excited about it ❤ anyway, while we begin the (long) wait, May @ Forever and Everlyand Lily @ Sprinkles of Dreams tag me to do the percy jackson/heroes of olympus book tag, so here it is!
Thank the person who tagged you and link to their post.

okay, i wasn’t actually tagged by anybody to do this tag, but i’ve seen it on numerous blog and thought it’d be a good idea to see what i’ve been reading for the first half of 2019 and how i feel about it (side note, but how is it that we’re already in the second half of 2019?? time is insane). without further ado, here is it :
1. BEST BOOK YOU’VE READ SO FAR IN 2019
i read a lot of amazing books this year, but for the best i’ll have to say a conjuring of light by v.e. schwab! it’s the only book that made me teared up this year, which says a lot considering i rarely cry when reading.
so to be honest, i wasn’t actually got tagged by anyone to do this tag, but i saw this post at Tiffany’s blog Read by Tiffany. i thought this tag is cool and it’s been awhile since i last do these kind of post, so basically i’m tagging myself (hope that’s okay!)
anyway, let’s start the tag..
1. HOW MANY BOOKS ARE TOO MANY BOOKS IN A SERIES?
depends on the genre, actually. i’d much prefer contemporary to be stand-alone, but if it’s fantasy or dystopian, i’d like those series to be a trilogy. i’m not a fan of standalone fantasy because i always felt like something was missing, and any series that has more than 3 books make me hesitant to read them (e.g. throne of glass)
