it’s a truth universally acknowledged that i’m terrible at sticking to my own TBR list. i just check my spring TBR list, and out of 10 books i listed, i’ve only read two! still, i love making TBR list, and hopefully i’ll actually read them since it’s summer holiday. anyway, here’s some books i plan to read during summer :
serpent & dove (serpent & dove #1) by shelby mahurin
i’ve actually started this one last night and so far it’s pretty great, though the world-building confuse me a little? i’m mostly looking forward to the hate-to-love/fake-marriage romance though, which is my favorite combination 😉
where dreams descend (kingdom of cards #1) by janella angeles
firstly, can we talk about THIS GORGEOUS COVER?? secondly, it’s set in circus, which made this book more magical. thirdly, i’m lucky enough to get an e-arc of this one, so i definitely will read it during summer.
more than maybe by erin hahn
another e-arc that i got! it’s basically books about music, and i’ve heard great things from fellow bloggers about this one so i’m excited to read it.
wicked fox (gumiho #1) by kat cho
seeing that i’m also slightly obsessed with k-dramas, it’s no surprise that i bought this book. i think this is the first time i read books based on korean’s legend (gumiho) and is actually set in korea.
the kingdom of back by marie lu
another gorgeous cover!! marie lu finally get a cover she deserve ❤ the kingdom of back tells the story of mozart siblings with magical twist, and i’m curious how it’ll play out.
caraval and legendary (caraval #1 and #2) by stephanie garber
i read caraval a couple of years ago and eventhough i love it, i haven’t continued the series until i finally got legendary during quarantine. definitely gonna re-read caraval first since i remember little about it.
and that’s it! i only list 7 books since i’m gonna try to read the remaining books from my spring TBR list as well. also, pretty sure i’m gonna buy one or two books…at the very least.
I’ve been seeing “More than Maybe” on Goodreads, and think it sounds like a fun read! Certainly one I want to remember once its release date rolls around. 🙂 Happy summer TBR-ing.

I know what you mean about sticking to lists. It’s hard! I might do better though since I’ve packed most of my books away in preparation for moving next month. But ebooks are still a thing, right? 😜

Oooh, I so relate to enjoying making TBRs despite barely sticking to them. I think I got through 3.5 books from my spring TBR! 😅
And I just read Serpent & Dove last month! the romance dynamic was so fun and cute! I devoured it all in like 2 days
Hope you love all these books and happy reading! 🙂
